   we can train a parrot to talk. but it can’t train others to talk becoz of lack of knowledge it acquired.

   if the parrot is repeating the word or words enough the other parrots around can start doin it to…they cumnicate by makin noises and whistles so if it learns a word it can teach it to another parrot.

   yes u can. if they re in a couple u teach one, usually male lerns faster and then female will pick some stuff from him. but she will never speak as many words as a male.(well, like in real life – male is always the best. or at least should be)

   Yes you can train a parrot to talk but can train it to train ohter parrots. what ever he says is also heard by his fellow parrots and will automatically learn it

   Yes to some extent but the results will be less than you want the birds will mimic each other but it isnt the same as when you spend time with them.

   Having a parrot teach another parrot to talk, is kind of like the blind leading the blind.

   good one!i don’t know!!!if you do teach them to speak, can u train them to bring your slippers in the morning as well!

   There are a lot of variables that you have not included… but… My African Grey is picking up things from my Macaw. Of course… it is only mimic. The Macaw has a pretty good idea of correct utilization. For instance if I am heating something in the microwave, she will say “Yummmm, Hot?” Or if the phone rings or someone knocks on the door, she hollers “Hello”. Now, the African Grey has picked up more words faster…. and speaks much clearer… and she does have her specific sounds or words that she attributes to specific people… but so far she is just running through words, but not using them much to make her wishes known.
